As part of our Burns prevention campaign, Sr Thuli was invited to a ceremony called “unomkhubulwane” at Little Falls in Roodepoort on the 11th of March 2023 to teach traditional healers about Burns Prevention and treatment for children.
The group calls themselves Inyanda Yombutho Cultural group. She was invited to attend to teach about Burns prevention as some of the traditional healing processes such as “ukugquma” meaning the steaming of the body may expose you to Burns.
