The Burns Unit is very labour intensive and it is ultimately the dedicated staff that makes things happen.
The working conditions for all of the team members are tough and could easily cause ‘burnout’.
We cannot afford to loose the dedicated staff, so i thought it would be a great initiative to somehow show appreciation to staff in the Paediatric Burns unit, said Dr Ronelle Parkhurst.
With the help of Lyndsay Barr from Heal the Burns a fabulous staff celebration party was hosted in the newly installed garden outside the Burns unit. Thank you for the support.
