Ayanda Tsotetsi

When Ayanda Tsotetsi fell ill with appendicitis, his mother, Vivian, faced an agonizing journey to find him the care he needed.

My name is Vivian Tsotesti, mother to Ayanda Tsotetsi.

My child got sick last year September and was not getting better until now recently, he had Appendicitis. I first took him to Thelle Mogeorane Hospital, and they tried to help him but later decided to transfer him to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

I would like to thank Baragwanath Hospital so much. They did something I never thought anyone would do for my child. The doctors, the nurses from Ward 32 – malume Mandla, malume Thema, malume Moeketsi, and malume Rodger just to name a few, but I am grateful to all of the staff that works in ward 32.

They have shown to be very much patient with our kids and with us parents as well. Whenever you call for them regards your child, they respond in an effective manner and if you need to talk to a doctor, they would also help by calling a doctor on call.

Today, my son is healed, and I’m proud to say he was healed by Baragwanath Hospital.
