Throughout the past few weeks I’ve spent time job shadowing and volunteering with Surgeons for Little Lives
I’ve learnt so much from that experience. I got to spend time playing with the kids in the wards, seeing the doctors at work in clinic and while doing rounds in the wards and I’ve seen some impressive procedures being performed by the doctors in theatre.
The nurses, med students and other medical professionals are all so kind and I admire the passion that the doctors have towards their patients and their work.
Being at SFLL has been an awe-inspiring experience and I look forward to returning in the future.
