My experience was truly enriching, and I particularly enjoyed observing in the operating theater with the pediatric surgeons. Witnessing their expertise and dedication was both eye-opening and inspiring, giving me a deeper understanding of the field.
Observing in theater allowed me to appreciate the work going into patient care, teamwork, and the commitment required to be a pediatric surgeon. Although this experience has reinforced my passion for medicine, I’ve come to realize that pediatric surgery might not be the exact path for me. However, my interest in caring for children remains strong.
I’d be thrilled to continue the program and observe other pediatricians in the department to gain a broader understanding of pediatric care. This experience would be invaluable in helping me achieve my goal of becoming a pediatrician.
