I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for arranging the job shadowing at Baragwanath Hospital.
I thoroughly enjoyed the two days that I spent there. I found the experience enlightening, enjoyable and informative and it gave me the opportunity to witness firsthand a day in the life of being a doctor/surgeon.
I would also like to extend my gratitude towards all the doctors, surgeons, interns and students for being helpful, engaging and happy to answer any questions that we had.
I would personally like to thank Dr Celeste Quan for giving us a tour of the hospital facilities and the many wards and all the surgeons in the team who allowed us to sit in the theatre with them while they performed.
I feel having gained this experience, insight and knowledge, that I am better equipped to continue my journey to one day study Medicine. It was an amazing opportunity that I will never forget.
