This emails serves to extend my gratitude for helping to facilitate the time (June 2023) I spent with Surgeons for Little Lives.
The invitation came through an inspiring Paediatric Surgeon, Dr Patel, after crossing paths with him at a conference. I heeded the invitation and joined the team for a day. I was truly at peace and content with all that I saw and also excited for a possible future in such a department!
I proceeded to proudly wear the SFLL merchandise whenever I can to remind me of the precious work that is being done by the organization. I am truly grateful for the experience and I will always cherish it, I look forward to spending more time with the team in the future.
